60 Years Carrera

Carrera will be 60 years old in 2023. It all started in 1963 when Hermann, the son of Josef Neuhierl, presented the first electrically powered Carrera circuit on a scale of 1:32. This was very well received and in 1967 Carrera released the larger scale of 1:24. In the 1970s and 1980s, the Carrera circuit was further developed and new car models were added. It was a great success but was overshadowed by the tragic death of Hermann Neuhierl in 1985.

Mickey and the Roadster Racers now also at Carrera First!

This year Carrera First introduces a brand new racetrack from Mickey Mouse and his good friend Donald Duck. The race track bears the name Mickey's Fun Race and, like all other Carrera First race tracks, comes with fun decorative elements that complete the theme.

Mickey and Donald have of course been known to young and old for years, so it is extra nice that Carrera has entered into a partnership with Disney and has developed this fantastic race track. Mickey has a tough Hot Rod as a racing car, while Donald appears in the race with a converted boat. This promises to be a great race!
